Week of the environment with Federal President Gauck
- On 16. June 2016
Wörwag leaves an impression
Wörwag has shown its best at the Week of the Environment in Berlin – and has left lasting impressions. Even with the Federal President. The information pavilion of the company in the park of Bellevue Palace belonged to one of five highly regarded stations on Joachim Gauck’s tour of the numerous presentations. At the Wörwag booth the head of state was received by two managing directors Dr. Achim Gast and Dr. Peter Moritz, as well as by Helge Warta. An extremely energy-saving method compared to conventional painting processes. Not only Gauck was impressed by this but also Barbara Hendricks, Federal Minister for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Construction and Reactor Safety, and Rita Schwarzelühr-Sutter, Chairman of the German Federal Foundation for the Environment (DBU) and Secretary General Dr. Heinrich Bottermann. For Wörwag, there were two perfect days in Berlin: bright sunshine, a successful presentation at the stand and a lot of interesting expert talks. Nearly 12,000 visitors came to the week of the environment. For the second time Wörwag was invited to this performance show, which took place for the fifth time in cooperation with DBU. In total, more than 200 companies and institutions from Germany and Switzerland were invited to present their ideas and projects on sustainability. In addition to the exhibition, a wide range of lectures and discussions on current sustainability themes rounded off the extensive program. The conversations at the Wörwag booth were busy throughout the event. For when can one answer questions to a Federal President?
