The favorite color on your bike

How could it be any different? Trainees at Wörwag sometimes have quite a colorful life. In this case, a pearlescent yellow-green one.

A budding laboratory technician developed the special color for the frame of his bike together with Wörwag specialists – and gained a whole lot of practical know-how in doing so. The color was based on the record cover of his favourite band. Experimenting. Fulfilling unusual wishes. Persevering. A welcome change on a small scale later becomes a part of everyday working life for it is not just a robust and scratchproof color for the frame of one’s own mountain bike but a new serial color for a major automotive manufacturer. For it to succeed, Wörwag are already today investing in tomorrow’s specialists.

The trainees at Wörwag are a colorful bunch. Future coating laboratory technicians, chemical technicians and chemical production assistants go climbing together and throw themselves into the filming of a sports video. They profit in the family-run business from the many experienced coating professionals. They know what is vital in a solid traineeship – after all many of them trained themselves at Wörwag. They can certainly allay one worry: it is not necessary to love chemistry, maths and physics on a traineeship at Wörwag – they just have to be understood.
